Komodo Scuba Central and Padar
(5 Days /4 Nights)

Scuba diving in Komodo National Park is on the bucket list of many divers around the world. The region offers many wonderful dive sites for people who want to get started with diving, but also for advanced divers who seek the thrill of drift dives. Embarking on a boat trip throughout Komodo provides you with certain flexibility in terms of itinerary and places to visit. Customized charters are a perfect and unique holiday experience.  

Day 1 | Welcome to Komodo

Depart from the port at Labuan Bajo between 11 am and 12 pm, depending on your arrival. After a tour of your boat, a safety briefing, and a meal, we will set sail for a check dive at Sebayur Kecil. It is a mini wall and a gorgeous place to get comfortable with your equipment. You will also enjoy it as a night dive. Its visibility is 18 to 25 meters, it is very protected from currents, and the temperature ranges from 27 to 29 degrees Celsius.

Day 2 | Dives in Central Komodo

Today, you can enjoy incredible dive sites like Tatawa Besar, Tatawa Kecil, Siaba Kecil and Mawan. All of these dive sites offer spectacular opportunities to explore some of the most fantastic underwater flora and fauna in Indonesia. Sunset trekking on Padar is a lovely option, and a Padar night dive is highly recommended!

Day 3 | Central to Padar

Witness graceful Manta Rays doing somersaults on the surface as we cruise around the blue. Dive sites in this area include Batu Bolong and famous Manta Point. Your dive instructor will show you around the secret spots for some marco. After your diving sessions, relax on the boat and spoil yourself with delicious snacks and food. 

Day 4 | Padar to Rinca Area

Cruising from Padar to the Rinca area, you have various opportunities to visit stunning dive sites like; Three Sisters, Pengah Kecil, Wainilu and Bonsai! Observe fantastic schools of fish and rainbows of coral in this area. In the afternoon, you will have a once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet the world’s largest lizards, the Komodo Dragon. Marvel at a sunset with the Flying Foxes of Kalong (Fruit bats waking from their sleep in droves and flying to their evening hunt).

Day 5 | Farewells

After a final breakfast onboard your yacht, we will arrive back in Labuan Bajo between 10 am and 12 pm. Arrival time in Labuan Bajo will be scheduled according to your flights or further plans. 

Itinerary

Private Charters are more flexible in the itinerary compared to scheduled Cruises. Your Cruise Director will work with you on the detailed day-to-day planning onboard.
